Coronavirus COVID-19 Update 3.12.2020
Annapolis Pride cancels all events until at least April 10th effective immediately
For all events hosted by outside groups, please check with the individual sponsors for the status of the event.
Public health and safety is our number one priority. Annapolis Pride is canceling all events until April 10th effective immediately. Yesterday, the World Health Organization (WHO) characterizes COVID-19 as a pandemic.
Our best hope to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 is through mitigation efforts like social distancing to reduce the disease caseload and keep our healthcare system from becoming overwhelmed, referred to as Flattening the Coronavirus Curve. We strongly urge you, our supporters, and community partners to take immediate measures to maintain public health and safety.
We hope to celebrate with everyone at the Annapolis Pride 2020 Parade & Festival on June 27th. In the event that the Parade & Festival are canceled or postponed, registered groups and sponsors can have their monetary support applied to the rescheduled event or request a refund.
We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 virus and keep you updated. Please contact us with any questions or concerns, firstname.lastname@example.org.
This is our community events calendar. If there is an event that you are hosting and feel is relevant to the LGBTQ+ community please let us know about it by emailing the information to email@example.com. (All posts are subject to approval.)
Most events here are hosted by outside entities. If you have a question about a specific event, you should direct your questions to the contact information within the event details.
Events that Annapolis Pride is officially hosting are identified with the “Official Event” Seal.
