This is a presentation by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in partnership with Annapolis Pride. Talk Saves Lives is an introduction to suicide prevention that covers the general scope of suicide, the research on prevention, and what people can do to fight suicide.
Participants will learn the common risk factors for suicide with focus on the LGBT+ populations, how to spot the warning signs in others, and how to keep ourselves, our loved ones and those in our community safe. Please be on time so we can leave 15 minutes for Q&A.
