The Severn River Honey Badgers got their start in 2006 as a part of Severn River Rugby, founded over 40 years ago with the mission of growing the wonderful sport of rugby. The Honey Badgers compete in the women’s division of the Capital Geographic Union at Division 2 and 3 levels. With inclusivity at the forefront of our mission, we continue to be a haven for LGBTQIA+ athletes of all skill levels. Our home pitch is at the American Legion Post 175 in Severna Park. We practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7-9pm with games on Saturdays. Our 15’s seasons run in the fall and spring, with a social 7’s season over the summer.
