Labyrinth Walk for LGBTQ Inclusion
October 12 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
October is LGBTQ+ History Month, and each year, many people celebrate National Coming Out Day on October 11. To mark these occasions, this month’s labyrinth walk on Saturday, October 12 at noon will focus on the full inclusion of LGBTQ+ persons in church and society.
Rain or shine. Free and open to the public. All are welcome.
The labyrinth is an ancient pattern for walking prayer and meditation, shared by many faith traditions and cultures. A hand-held labyrinth is available as an alternative to walking.
Wondering what the plus sign means? When added to the end of the letters LGBTQ, it signifies including people of many different gender and sexuality identities who may not be represented by the terms Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, or Queer.
